I saw a homeless man and I was filled with pity. Poor thing, he has to survive on the streets without creature comforts.
I saw a woman with a physical deformity. Her face was twisted, teeth jutting out, walking with a limp. Poor dear, can you imagine the adjustment to eat?
I saw a little girl with a clubbed foot, a blind old lady, another old lady with a hunchback. I shook my head at the tragedies I beheld.
I jumped out of the way of a pick-up moving furniture and my eyes caught those of a man. He was averagely dressed, average look. He didn't look as if life had dealt him any bad hands, yet his eyes held a strangeness about them. I recognised it as a smugness about him as if he felt that he was better than everyone else. Stupid punk! Immediately he disgusted me. He probably went around thinking he was the real sh*t maybe even feeling sorry for ppl with his fake sense of justice in his mind about how the world should really work. I didn't know him but I could have hit him over the head....
Then the pick-up moved on in traffic with its precious cargo of a dresser with a full length mirror.

Another post that makes me go hmmm. life's lessons in subtle and powerful forms: good stuff
Is there something about the pick up truck that you wanted me to see? 'Cause... it's mention is a bit abstract.
yes Alei: a reflective surface through which he can see himself - the full length mirror in the pick-up truck
