What's the matter with the world has the world gone mad? What is wrong with the world? It's the ppl that's in it!

Sony has unveiled it's new PS3 and it's got me skeeerd too! Same justification. They are both equiped with Blu tooth capabilities. It'll be easy to take advantage of wireless hotspots with minor modifications (not their intention).
So where is Nintendo in all of this? They have launched a new handheld because apparently they only intend to maintain dominance in that market. Deja vue or return to humble beginnings?
True they also have plans to launch a competitor to the PS3 and Xbox 360 called the Revolution.
I haven't found out the info on the specs as yet so a full comparison is not possible at this time. Nintendo has always been secretive and late in coming out with new systems. The saving grace for Nintendo has always been the cult following for Nintendo only games; Mario, Zelda, etc... Here are some screenshots for the new Zelda: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It's for the GameCube; which means we can expect better for the Revolution.
Of course being a Zelda Junkie I now have to get a Game Cube and then a Revolution so that I have all the Zeldas out there. What?! Don't hate me cause I'm devoted!

Hayden your devotion to the Underdogs is admirable, but face it
Nintendo is a dieing breed, the mere fact that they have taken so long to release their specs indicate that they are scrambling to come close to their competators, its over Hayden.
As for the Xbox and Ps3 being more powerful than your PC, well if you check it, current Game systems allready outclock your PC. The Graphics cards they use are custom built, and will crush just about anything you can put in your PC. The Processors are always Top of the line, but with the next Gen coming out (particularly PS3 with the Cell that does 10, yes read it and weep 10 instruction sets at once) there is nothing you can do about it :S. I must say however, you are not being paranoid, Microsoft plans to make the Xbox a self contained entertainment center, so that pimple nose kid wont have much to do when he finally decides to carry out his plan of world Domination :S.
Nintendo is not dead and never will die. It'll be back and reinvent itself as it has always done. Maybe they'll sign with AMD instead of IBM and then all heck will bruk loose. bwaaaah ha ha ha ha!!!!
lol!
Keep hope alive.
They should stick with IBM though, cause IBM is creating the new Cell processor with Sony and Toshiba :D, although I doubt sony will let thm have it.
Exactly; so their best bet is AMD. That will give AMD some capital investment to really tear up the place with a new super processor to blow IBM and Intel out of the water.
