The Institute of Jamaica is hosting Mayfair. Below is more information. Tickets cost J$100.
Mayfair is a culmination of a month long celebration of activities put on by the Institute.

Where: Institute of Jamaica (IOJ) compound (10-16 East Street)
Fi wah: A cultural fair which celebrates everything Jamaican. There will be pottery making demonstrations and a ceramic booth, candy making and traditional candy on sale, locally made craft items such as jewelry and clothes will also be on sale. Ground provisions such as cabbage etc. will also be on sale at our market stall.
There will also be children’s activities such as face painting, pin the tail, bounce-a-bout and much more.
There is a lunch hour concert which starts at 12:15 pm and features Fae Ellington as the emcee and the Bare essentials band. The fair also features the UTECH steel band and the Junior Centre drummers.
Traditional foods such as mannish water, jerk pork, jerk chicken, dukunno, coconut drops, potato pudding, turn cornmeal and fritters will form the meal options being offered for the day. There will be Red Cross standing by for safety reasons as well as adequate security.
The fair starts at 10:30 am and ends at 3:00 pm

Point made by D, why weekday? Limits who can attend doesn't it? 3pm is when some would be able to slip away as well. Granted I figure you guys have to do it during your work hrs.
