On Friday April 22, 2005 a letter to the editor from a self-professed Prophetic watchdog of the seventh-day adventist faith appeared in your column. He expressed concern about newly elected Pope Benedict XVI's proposal to work without fail at unifying Christians worldwide. By desiring to unify Christians and not Catholics, this gentleman was concerned that the Pope was beginning the work of the New World Order in which church and state become one.
I am not sure how they all become interchangeable concepts, but then again I am not blessed with prophetic powers. The Roman Catholic church is the oldest and largest Christian denomination (1 Billion strong worldwide). It has seen good times and bad times; including recent scandals. We have been accused of icon woshipping, blasphemy and even being in cahoots with the devil. Each Pope from the 1900s has been called the anti-christ and others with prophetic powers have informed us that we will produce the anti-christ from within our midst.
If other Christians would spend their time praying for us instead of so much time bad-mouthing us, it's possible we'd come around if we are wrong or get along better, accepting our differences. But then that would be the Christ-like thing to do.

(shock and Dismay!). What a heretic thought to have, if we start praying for you guys who will we have critisize? Not mention the fact that we might put Hollywood out of business. We cant have that. No Hayden you guys are gonna have to take one for the team. Fun and joke aside u rais and intresting point, but then its the nature of human beings. Question though, I want to look into church dynamics in terms of how doctrins change to suite the times as well as the income level of church members at various Denominations, I see a very intresting trend with the Catholic church as opposed to the Denominationless churches, it would be intresting to see how various churches are going to change their "marketing" strategies to adapt to the changing times if any at all. I'll tell you this though I dont envy the current pope, hes got a ruff road ahead of him.
What trend have you been noticing? I'm ken to see if we are on the same track.
